Another in a string of lovely mornings for my today's AMNH bird walk. There were lots of White-throated and Song sparrows, Hermit Thrushes and Ruby-crowned Kinglets. The stars of the morning, however, were raptors. We had a Red-tailed Hawk, a flyover Peregrine Falcon and as we were headed out an adult Cooper's Hawk south of Azalea Pond with a just caught flicker.
